Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini will miss the start of pre-season training after being diagnosed with a calf injury. The Italy international suffered the problem during last weekend's 4-0 defeat by Spain in the final of UEFA EURO 2012. A statement from Juventus read: "Giorgio Chiellini underwent a scan after sustaining an injury during Sunday night's EURO 2012 final against Spain. Tests have revealed a first-second degree muscular lesion in his left calf." Chiellini is set to be out of action for four weeks but Juve are hopeful to have the 27-year-old available in time for the Italian Supercoppa final against Napoli on 11 August.
