Auxerre defender Adama Coulibaly is facing eight weeks out of action after breaking his foot. The 31-year-old from Mali suffered the injury in last night's Coupe de la Ligue tie against Caen. He underwent tests today to determine the severity of the injury, and it was discovered he sustained a double break of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot. A statement on Auxerre's official website said Coulibaly would be absent "for a duration of around eight weeks". He has been a regular at the heart of the Auxerre defence since joining from Lens in 2008, and has started eight Ligue 1 matches this season.
