Tom Cleverley will be out for just three weeks. A scan yesterday revealed he had suffered a bad sprain rather than a broken foot, following a challenge by Kevin Davies. Bolton's Davies went through Cleverley, 22, from behind (left) after just four minutes of the Reebok clash and the Manchester United midfield man hobbled off. United boss Alex Ferguson was left fuming at the tackle, which did not earn a booking, fearing the worst. He said: "It is unfortunate but we expected it. It was a bad tackle." Cleverley, who has also just got into the England squad, left the ground on crutches and with a cast on his foot.
