Real Madrid duo Kaka and Marcelo will miss out on the forthcoming international matches against Gabon and Egypt because of injury. Both players sustained muscle injuries while playing for the Primera Division leaders and will not recover in time for the away friendlies - on Thursday and Monday respectively. The Brazilian football federation, the CBF, also confirmed that Bayern Munich midfielder Luiz Gustavo would not figure in the match against Gabon in Libreville. A statement on the CBF website read: "Luiz Gustavo is out of the game against Gabon because he does not have proof of vaccination required to enter the country. The technical committee of the CBF states that the player has no responsibility for the problem." However, the organisation confirmed the 24-year-old will join up with the squad before the match against Egypt in Doha.
