Lyon`s hopes of securing a top-three finish in Ligue 1 have been hit with the news that captain Cris will miss the next month with a calf injury. The 34-year-old former Brazil international suffered the injury late in Saturday`s 1-0 win at Saint-Etienne. "He is out for four weeks," manager Remi Garde told L`Equipe. "It is a big blow. He was in good form against Saint-Etienne and brings a lot of experience to the group." Lyon are currently fifth in Ligue, four points behind third-placed Lille. Third will be good enough to secure a UEFA Champions League qualifying spot at the end of the season. They also face Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France this week.
