Maicon arrives in Roma for medical

Douglas Maicon arrived in Rome on Monday to undergo the routine medical before completing his transfer from Manchester City to Roma. The right-back will undergo his medical Monday afternoon and then will go to join his new teammates in their pre-season retreat of Riscone. The almost 32-year-old, who joined Manchester City from Inter last summer and only started just four Premiership games there, is expected to sign a two-year contract at the Stadio Olimpico.
