FC Internazionale Milano right-back Maicon will miss Wednesday's UEFA Champions League meeting with LOSC Lille Métropole after straining a muscle in his left thigh during his side's 2-1 loss to Juventus on Saturday. The 30-year-old Brazilian international played until the final whistle against Juve after finding the net during Inter's fifth defeat in nine Serie A outings. He nonetheless felt pain after the game and tests on Sunday confirmed "a second-degree strain to the biceps femoris muscle of the left thigh", according to a club statement. It is unclear how long the full-back will be sidelined, but he is certain to sit out Wednesday's Group B home encounter with Lille and could also miss the matchday five trip to Trabzonspor A? on 22 November. Inter currently lead the section on six points, two clear of PFC CSKA Moskva and Trabzonspor.
