Emad Meteb has been ruled out of Ahly's Friday training session because of a middle ear infection. The 29-year-old is expected to undergo medical tests on Saturday to determine the extent of his condition. The striker didn't join the national squad that is to face Guinea in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers on 10 June because of the infection. "I will not be available for the Guinea clash because I'm suffering from earache. I missed Monday's training session as the doctor told me that I need to rest for a while," Meteb told Egyptian TV early last week. The Cairo giants returned to regular training on Friday in preparation for the group match in the African Champions League against Congolese side Mazembe in July. ahramonline .
