Egypt striker Emad Meteb will miss the Pharaohs' 10 June World Cup qualifier against Guinea due to injury, the talented Ahly forward revealed late Monday. "I will not be available for the Guinea clash as I am suffering from earache. I missed Monday's training session as the doctor told me that I need to rest for a while," Meteb told Egyptian TV. It was rumored that Meteb was angry with coach Bob Bradley because he refused to use him as a substitute in Friday's 2-0 home win over Mozambique in the first World Cup qualifier. "Sure I am sad for not playing against Mozambique but I respect the coaching staff's decisions. When I totally recover, I will be available for the national team any time," the veteran striker explained. The seven-time African Cup of Nations (CAN) champions have been paired with Guinea, Zimbabwe and Mozambique in Group G in the World Cup qualifiers. They are also scheduled to play the Central African Republic in CAN 2013 qualifiers later in June. ahramonline .
