Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has been ruled out of Wednesday's friendly against Argentina after picking up a slight injury playing in the German Super Cup at the weekend, national coach Joachim Low has said today. Bayern Munich's Neuer bruised his pelvis during his team's 2-1 Super Cup victory over Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund and has been told to rest for a few days. Low has opted instead for Borussia Moenchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen for the 15 August tie in Frankfurt. Ter Stegen made his debut for the national side during a 5-3 friendly loss against Switzerland before Euro 2012 last May. The Germany-Argentina friendly will act as a warm-up for qualifiers for the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ in Brazil. FIFA
