Barcelona have announced that forward Pedro will be out for up to ten days after suffering a leg injury in last night's Copa del Rey quarter-final victory at Osasuna. The 24-year-old was forced to leave the field during the 2-1 win and tests today confirmed he had a muscle strain in his left leg. Should he be out for ten days as expected, the Spain international will miss the La Liga games against Real Betis and Malaga as well as the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Real Madrid. The European champions also announced more serious injury news, with Andreu Fontas set to undergo surgery in Barcelona in the coming days after tests confirmed the player tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during last night's game.
