The only survivor of last week''s plane crash that killed almost the entire Lokomotiv Yaroslavl ice-hockey team has regained consciousness in hospital, a hospital source said on Tuesday. Crew member Alexander Sizov remains in intensive care. Earlier reports suggested he had been moved to a ward, according to Russian (RIA Novosti) News Agency. "He has come to," the source said. "His condition is serious, but stable." Sizov has burns to 15% of his body, and multiple fractures, including of the ribs and both hips. Ice-hockey player Alexander Galimov also survived the crash, but died on Monday. He had suffered burns to around 90% of his body. His funeral will take place on Tuesday. Forty-four people died when the team''s Yak-42 plane went down near the Volga city of Yaroslavl shortly after take off on September 7. The team was flying to the Belarus capital of Minsk for its first match of the Kontinental Hockey League season.
