Espanyol forward Juan Albin will miss the rest of the season due to injury, the Spanish club have announced. The 25-year-old Uruguayan damaged a thigh muscle during training on Saturday and, after undergoing tests this morning, Espanyol confirmed he is set to be out for between "four to six weeks". With La Liga finishing on the weekend of 12/13 May, that would mean Albin misses Espanyol's final four games against Sporting Gijon, Granada, Barcelona and Sevilla. Espanyol are currently tenth in the standings on 45 points, three adrift of the UEFA Europa League places. Albin has only made eight competitive appearances for Espanyol since joining from Getafe last summer due to injury.
