President of the Algerian Confederation of Employers Naite Abdel Aziz said that the meeting headed Algerian Prime Minister Abdel Malek Salal on Monday will open the door for an open discussion between the employers and the General Union of Algerian Workers.

He added that the agenda of this meeting has not been determined, as it will be open meeting focusing on economic issues, including the economic program adopted by the Algerian government to develop the Algerian economy.

The Algerian official praised the governmental program, based on easing the dependence on oil revenues, saying that it will leave positive results on the Algerian economy. He added that the program will perform a major role to ease the current recession witnessed in the country due to the notable decline in the oil prices.

He expected that the Algerian government will overcome the current crisis in 2019, praising the efforts exerted by the government to increase the investments in different fields, including tourism, industry and agriculture.

He stressed the need that the government should take serious steps to eliminate the bureaucracy which is considered the major challenge facing the employers and preventing the economic development.
