The players and staff of Ajax paid homage to their former forward and coach Johan Cruyff on Monday, describing him as their "all time great" and signing a book of condolences.
The 68-year-old Dutchman died on Thursday after a brief struggle with cancer as the news provoked worldwide recognition of his footballing legacy.
Ajax have set up a register book of condolences in front of a life-size photo of the player at their stadium so that fans of the club can pay their last respects too.
Having led Ajax to the European Cup three times in 1971, 1972 and 1973 he also led the national side to the 1974 World Cup final where despite losing 2-1 the Dutch won admirers the world over.
