Chelsea captain John Terry will miss Friday's game with Liverpool because of strained ligaments in his foot, the Premier League club said on Tuesday.
Terry suffered the injury in the final moments of the weekend defeat at Swansea. A scan revealed the extent of the damage and Terry will be out for around 10 days, the club said.
The defender will likely be ready to face Arsenal, Chelsea's next encounter after Liverpool.
