The draw for the third and final round of the African qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup will take place Friday at the Confederation of African Football's headquarters in Cairo as 20 teams learn their fate in the race to qualify for world football's biggest event.
Seeded teams and the four pots for the draw were defined based on a special FIFA ranking for African teams on June 7. The seeded teams are Algeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal and Tunisia.
Pot 2 comprises Cape Verde, Egypt, Congo DR, Nigeria and Mali, while Pot 3 features Cameroon, Morocco, Guinea, South Africa and Congo.
Pot 4, which will be drawn first during the ceremony, includes Uganda, Burkina Faso, Zambia, Gabon and Libya.
