World champion Sebastian Vettel insisted on Wednesday that he will dedicate all his energies to helping Red Bull teammate Mark Webber secure second place in the championship. "Mark's not far away now from second, the last couple of races were in some ways a bit rough for him," said Vettel, who wrapped up his second successive title in Japan earlier this month. "We won the constructors' championship last weekend which was a big thing for the team, but also for the drivers. "Now with three races left, we hope for the best results possible for ourselves but also for the team." Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has made Webber's success his priority for the last three races of the 2011 season. "Mark is a crucial player for us," Horner said. "His performances have helped us win the constructors' championship. "He's had a very strong year and we want to get him second in the drivers' championship. "That's our remaining target for the remainder of the year - to get him a race win and finish the season in style." When asked whether he will adhere to this strategy, even if it comes at the expense of him winning more races, Vettel said: "Yeah, definitely. Webber is currently in fourth place in the standings on 209 points, behind Fernando Alonso in third place with 212 and Jenson Button in second spot with 222. Vettel has an insurmountable 349 points. Vettel added that despite becoming the youngest driver ever to win two championships, he did not have Michael Schumacher's record of seven titles in his sights just yet. "That's a long, long way away," he said. "Obviously we've had two phenomenal years, and sometimes people start to get over-excited. "I don't think you can set the target and say 'okay, I want to win seven titles', or something like that. "I think what Michael achieved in many ways was outstanding."
