Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has revealed his ambition to play football like Barcelona at the Etihad Stadium.Toure left the Spanish and European champions for the Eastlands outfit in the summer of 2010 after winning two Primera Liga titles and one Champions League among other trophies. The Ivory Coast international has established himself as a key player in Roberto Mancini's team since then, and now hopes that he and his team-mates can emulate the Blaugrana's style of 'fantasy' football in the coming years."I hope we can be as good as Barcelona one day," the 28-year-old told The Daily Star Sunday. "They are unbelievable. They have some great footballers and one of the best in the world in Lionel Messi."We have to continue to work like them and try to improve and win trophies to become like them."Barcelona are a big club. Every year they win two or three cups and for us we need to win some cups and become like them."They are known for their fantasy football and I hope one day we can be looked at like that. City are signing fantastic players and we're trying to keep them for a long time."I think when we win more trophies more fans will come and everyone will start to like Manchester City."The former Monaco midfielder also explained his decision to leave Camp Nou and insists that he has no regret in joining City."My decision to leave Barcelona was not wrong," explained Toure. "They are an unbelievable club."Everyone wants to be there and everyone wants to play with Barcelona. The most important thing for me was that if I did leave Barcelona I had to come to a club where they would treat me well and I could help them win something."My decision was to go out of Barcelona and try a new life, try a new team. And it was not wrong because although last year was difficult, we qualified for the Champions League and won the FA Cup which was amazing.""We want to repeat that again," he continued. "But we will have to work hard because all the teams are ready for us. Every game is like a final for us."But we can create something new here at City. That's why I signed for the club. I think the club have fantastic ambition. Winning trophies"Now they are signing the top players in the world. Everyone is coming here. We are all happy and I think in a few years you will see City win some more trophies."I know I have become a hero to City fans. I know that after 35 years it's a very long time. The people are starting to enjoy this now. They are very happy."We're all happy because we want to do something amazing for the club. When we signed it was mentioned that this club is like a story waiting to be written."That's very important for the players to be part of that. It's a story of a big club and in a few years City will become a great club, I'm sure."
