What's a woman without a beautiful dress? Let's face it, we all have that one stunning evening dress stocked up nicely in our wardrobe somewhere that we pull out every now and again. And post The Great Gatsby, our yearning for glamorous gowns has only but perpetuated. So when Egyptian fashion designer Reda Mustafa, tells us that to stock up on evening attire this season, then of course we don't need to think twice in doing so, as we pull out our credit cards. In an interview with Arab Today, the Egyptian fashion guru revealed that there has been a notable increase in evening dresses this year. From simple sassy silk, to heavily embroidered elegance to sexy LBD's, dresses are your Fall must-haves. As he prepares for his new line, Reda Mustafa affirmed that his designs encompass a cultural aspect with the use of Egyptian materials. He disclosed that for his new line, he has been playing with canvas art to add a unique print element to his designs. "'I'm always looking for something new and different when it comes to my work," Mustafa tells us. "I'd rather be sat for days on end trying to create something distinctive, than sticking to the norm," he adds. "Each girl has a character, and I aim to design for that personality. This is what fashion is all about." The designer states that pastel shades are back in trend, adding that black evening embroidered wear will be quite prominent this year. "I hope to see Egyptian fashion on the global scale someday," Reda comments. "Until then, I will continue creating unique looks for fashionistas."
