The Sudanese government on Wednesday deployed additional military reinforcements in South Kordofan state.
The move came for the purpose of contributing to eliminating armed rebellious movements, imposing prestige of the state as well as achieving stability nationwide.
Upon receiving the forces, South Kordofan governor Issa Adam Abkar underlined the importance of establishing sustainable peace in order to achieve security, stability and development in addition to liberating the detainees at prisons of rebellious movements.
Peace is a strategic goal the country is seeking to achieve so as to make a good use of human and material resources, he said.
Meanwhile, Abkar voiced happiness over receiving additional forces that will back the armed forces in their military operations.
