The activities of the Societal Dialogue were kicked off at the Friendship Hall Sunday morning with abroad participations of the civil society organizations, the political forces, universities' lecturers, and research and studies centers, representatives of the regional organizations members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Khartoum.
The President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Hassan Al-Bashir, has addressed the inaugural sitting for the societal dialogue pointing to the role of the civil society in leading the state and formulating the strategic vision for the next stage.
Prof. Yousif Fadul, the lecturer at the University of Khartoum, has addressed the inaugural sitting of the dialogue on behalf of the participants as he is oldest member, emphasizing the country's need for the unify of rank in order to confront challenges that are facing the homeland.
