Egyptians wants to move forward rather than dwell on the failing health of former President Hosni Mubarak, activists in Tahrir Square said. Activists demonstrated and celebrated at the news Mubarak, sentenced to life in prison for the killing of Egyptian protesters in the run-up to his ouster, was in a coma, Bikyamasr.com reported Wednesday. Mubarak was in critical condition but alive in a military hospital early Wednesday, the Interior Ministry said. He was taken by helicopter to a suburban Cairo hospital from the maximum-security Tora Prison late Tuesday. "Yes, I would like to know what his [Mubarak's] situation is, but at the end of the day, it means little to what is happening in the country," one activist told Bikyamasr.com. Some sources inside Tora Prison said Mubarak's heart stopped twice while other sources said he suffered an aneurysm. Bikyamasr.com said neither report could be verified. "I just wish the West would understand that we Egyptians want to focus on the future and not the past," a Muslim Brotherhood supporter said.
