Revising the Arab Convention on Combating Terrorism will be among issues discussed at the Arab Parliament meeting which began in Cairo on Monday.
The 5th meeting of the 1st sitting for the 2nd legislative session of the Arab Parliament began on Monday at the headquarters of the Arab League under the chair of Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al Salami, Speaker of the Arab Parliament with the participation of the Sultanate.
The Sultanate is represented in the meeting by Musalim bin Ali Al Ma'ashani, Member of the State Council, Deputy Speaker of the Arab Parliament and Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Politics and National Security, Khamis bin Said Al Sulaimi, Member of the State Council, Member of the Committee on Social, Educational and Cultural Affairs, Women and Youth, Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmad Al Shamsi, Deputy Chairman of the Majlis A'Shura and Member of the Economic and Financial Committee, and Salim bin Ali Al Ka'abi , Member of the Majlis A'Shura, Member of the Legal, Legislative and Human Rights Committee of the Arab Parliament.
The meeting will discuss a number of topics, such as revising the Arab Convention on Combating Terrorism.
