A fire erupted at a residential building in Rashidyah area in Ajman on Saturday night.
Brigadier Rashid Jassim Mijlad, director general of Ajman Civil Defence, said the blaze broke out in an apartment located on the 17th floor and it was controlled in less than 30 minutes.
No injuries were reported, while three people [from residents] were treated from smoke. Two of them were later moved to Khalifa hospital.
Firefighters are working to cool the site and the residents can return to their apartment after an hour, he said.
The site will be handed over to police to investigate the cause of the fire
