The worst storm in years is expected to hit Britain with heavy rain and strong winds starting on Sunday. According to dpa, winds of more than 130 kilometres per hour are expected to sow destruction, uprooting trees and power poles, weather forecasters have warned. Power cuts and transport chaos are expected. The Met Office is predicting 2-4 centimeters of rain in England overnight, which could trigger floods. British Prime Minister David Cameron spoke to various departments responsible for public safety.
