Torrential rain will hit Yunnan and Hainan provinces in southern China on Friday and Saturday, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Friday.
The areas will see precipitation up to 150 mm, the NMC said.
Meanwhile, heavy rain will sweep parts of Shaanxi Province and the Sichuan Basin in southwest China over the next three days.
Thunderstorms that have been lingering in northeast China will gradually ease over Saturday and Sunday, according to the country's weather observatory.
