The turbidity of the Nile water has hit 1,400 percent after the river turned to a "river of sand" due to bad weather conditions over the past few days.In a statement on Saturday, the operations room of the water and sanitation company in Assiut said that filters of the water stations were blocked.The average turbidity level is 7 percent.The operations room added that the maintenance of the filters would be very costly.
