The Palestine Festival of Literature (PalFest) will be launched  on the sixth of May in Gaza with various events that will extend to Ramallah in the West Bank and Cairo downtown. The events will take place in Gaza schools, universities and cultural centres and it’s all free and open to public. Programme: GAZA 6 May: Opening Night 4pm, Golden Media Centre (opposite Al-Azhar University) 8 May: Concert 5pm, Rashad Al-Shawa Centre Concert by Jafra, Eskenderella and more. 9 May: Closing Night 5pm, Dar Al-Basha (opposite Qasr Al-Basha) RAMALLAH 5 May, 7.30pm Khalil Sakakini Cultural Centre Public reading with Maya Abu Hayat, Rachel Holmes, Bee Rowlatt, Abd Al-Rahim Al-Shaikh. With a musical performance by Imad Sayrafi. CAIRO                           11 May, 8pm Rawabet Theatre, Downtown
