The General Egyptian Book Organisation (GEBO) has just issued the third volume in its series 'Arabic Creation' titled Lasto Garhan Walla Khingaran (I’m Not a Wound or a Dagger) by the Bahraini poet Qassim Haddad. The book is a collection of poems including Confusions of the Soul, Kings and Your Eyes. Qassim Haddad was born in Bahrain in 1948 and he was the editor of Kalemat cultural magazine. His poems have been translated into many languages and he has received prizes, such as from the Lebanese cultural forum in Paris in 2002 and a Jean Jacques Rousseau fellowship in 2012.
