The exhibition features work by some of Egypt's most prominent contemporary artists, including Omar El-Nagdi, Mohamed Abla, Georges Bahgoury, and Hany Rashed, as well as a number of emerging artists. According to the organisers, the collection aims to provide a "true reflection of the current Egyptian visual arts scene." Launched one year ago, the online-based Arts-Mart caters to a wide range of art enthusiasts, from fans on a budget to seasoned collectors. The platform, which supports up-and-coming artists by providing a virtual as well as physical space for their works to be exhibited, has been growing since November 2012, featuring more and more established names in their exhibitions as well as online.
