Under the kind auspices of the Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Ministry of Culture hosted an entertainment and cultural programme at the Bahrain National Stadium themed (Thanks Bahrain) organized by the Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations (BFEA) in the Kingdom. The festival was a nice gesture in which all communities from all over the world expressed their gratitude and appreciation of Manama the land of Peace, with massive participation from government ministries, embassies and consulates, clubs, etc. The Ministry of Culture contributed cultural and touristic products during the event and distributed publications to familiarize guest visitors with the Kingdom's tourist attractions. The Ministry's special pavilion included the distribution of publications on local architecture that promoted the Ministry's ideas for Manama as the Capital of Arab Tourim2013 as well as the Ministry's upcoming events and Manama's historic and urban profiles. Concise video clips displayed historic documentation of key attractive archaeological sites in Bahrain as well as lifestyles of Bahraini people in the past.
