The American Research Centre in Egypt (ARCE) will host historian, Khaled Fahmy, chair of the Department of History at the American University in Cairo, tomorrow 14 March. Fahmy will be speaking about the politics around Islamic law under the title “The politics of Implementing Sharia: Some Lessons from Modern Egyptian History" ARCE hosts weekly lectures on topics of historical and contemporary concern. The lecture is free and open to the public. Programme: Wednesday 14 March, 6:00pm 2 Simon Bolivar Street in Garden City, Cairo
