The Kuwaiti painter Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi is displaying 27 of his pieces depicting the Kuwaiti environment in the Egyptian capital.
The exhibition, dedicated for the local fund "Tahya Misr," was inaugurated late on Monday by Dr. Ahmad Abdulgheni, the head of the formative arts department, on behalf of the Egyptian minister of culture. Abdulgheni praised the Kuwaiti artist for choosing Cairo as venue to publicize his works and dedicate its proceeds to the fund, founded by the Egyptian president.
Kuwait's Ambassador to Egypt Salem Al-Zamanan, in remarks to KUNA, hailed Al-Tamimi for allotting he fair proceeds for the Egyptian fund.
President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has founded the fund, Tahya Misr (Long Live Egypt), and has urged citizens contribute to its resources. The fund was set up to secure financial resources for mega development ventures.
