A ceremony to pay tribute to the leader of the African-American Civil Rights Movement Martin Luther King was organized, Tuesday at the Rabat court of cassation, with the attendance of several Moroccan and US figures from the legal sphere. The tribute was paid by judges at the court of cassation with the participation of over 130 US magistrates and lawyers. On this occasion, first president of the court of cassation Mustapha Fares highlighted the rich heritage of Martin Luther King, an outstanding man who have marked history and influenced the American society and the international community. US attorney Frieda Davis Langford said that thanks to the fight of Martin Luther King, African-American lawyers and judges are practicing their profession and are here in Morocco to share their experiences with Moroccan counterparts to forge ahead with the process of justice undertaken in Morocco.
