Tunisia will be present in a remarkable way in the 16th edition of the Algiers International Book Fair, to be held from September 21 to October 1, 2011, with 500 titles covering several areas of knowledge and the participation of some twenty Tunisian publishing houses.Tunisian works to be put on display in this event include publications and books pertaining to the fields of humanities, economics and others for children."The Tunisian participation is marked by the presentation of the most important works published after the January 14, 2011 Revolution," chairman of the Tunisian Publishers Union Noureddine Abid told TAP.Several other countries are to take part in this event, including Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Libya, Ukraine and Russia, in addition to the participation of the founder of French e-newspaper Mediapart.
