A delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage met Sunday with the Turkish Deputy Minister of Culture to discuss preparations for a Qatari culture event in Ankara in May. HE Qatar’s Ambassador in Ankara Abdul Razaq Abdul Ghani attended the meeting. The delegation was led by Faleh Al Ajlan Al Hajri and included Juma Al Mohannadi, Khalid al Medadi as members. They visited a number of cultural institutions in order to coordinate the hosting of the event. The Turkish officials welcomed the Qatari delegation and ensured that they were ready to hold the event as the Turkish people were eager to find out about the Qatari heritage. The event will include an exhibition of hand-made crafts, fine arts in addition to films and traditional Qatari music.
