A book launch of the Arabic translation of Reading the Maya Glyphs (originally written in English) will be held on Thursday, 20 September. Tith book's author, Michael D. Co and Photographer Mark Van Stone succeeded in collecting rich scientific material about the great Mayan civilisation and its rich writing in this valuable volume. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Calligraphy Centre (BACC), in cooperation with the Embassy of Mexico in Cairo will host the launch in the BACC Lecture Hall at 6:00 pm. The public is welcome.
