Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, who visited Tunisia upon an invitation of his counterpart, departed here for Tehran on Tuesday evening. Salehi is the first official of Iran after the victory of Tunisia revolution to visit Tunisia. He met with Tunisian President Moncef al-Marzouki, Prime Minister Hamadi al-Jebali, Head of Constituent Assembly Mustafa bin Jaafar, Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalem, Commerce and Handicrafts Minister Bechir Al-Zaafouri and Head of Tunisia’s Islamic Party of al-Nehza Rashid al-Ghanoushi. He also attended the opening ceremony of Iranian film in Tunisia and visited Mosque of al-Zeytounieh. Ways to expand relations between the two countries as well as discussing international and regional issues were among negotiation agenda of Salehi with Tunisian senior officials. Salehi arrived in Tunis heading a political-parliamentary delegation on Monday.
