Korando SE has some luxury features London - Arabstoday SsangYong is adding a new low priced crossover model to its Korando range - the Korando SE. "With a new and extremely affordable purchase price, a highly competitive PCP scheme on all models and a market leading five year limitless mileage warranty, there has never been a better time to purchase a Korando," said Paul Williams, CEO of SsangYong Motor UK. Styled by Italian car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro of Ital Design, this new model in the Korando line-up is powered by an advanced and robust 2.0 litre four cylinder turbo diesel engine producing 360Nm of torque with CO2 emissions of 147g/km and developing maximum power of 149ps@4,000rpm, while also providing a full two tonne towing capability. The SE features a level of equipment you would normally expect from much more expensive cars, including Electronic stability programme (ESP) with Hill Start Assist, Active Rollover Protection (ARP) and ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). It also comes equipped with a number of luxury touches including roof rails, tinted glass and rear parking sensors, while inside there are electric windows front and rear, a leather covered steering wheel and gear shift, air conditioning, cruise control and a Kenwood MP3 CD & RDS radio with iPod & Bluetooth, remote audio controls and six speakers. "In the current economy, customers tell us they want an affordable car, a competitive purchase plan and the peace of mind of a long and ‘quibble free’ warranty - that’s exactly what the new Korando delivers," says Steve Gray, marketing and communications director of SsangYong. "SsangYong has an enviable reputation for building extremely well engineered vehicles, and this new Korando draws on that pedigree - it’s an honest, reliable and highly capable car."
