Dante Rubli with two exhibits Abu Dhabi - Jamal Majaida Swiss artist Dante Rubli has held an exhibition showcasing sculptures of his seven unique gold plated cars, at the Emirates Palace hotel.The exhibition includes several drawings and golden sculptures. Vehicles on show were the Mercedes-Benz 300, James Bond's Aston Martin and the Ferrari 250 GTO, known as the most expensive car in the world.Among the most prominent paintings of Dante was a painting portraying the legendary Lamborghini P400 SV.Dante said: "the organisation of this exhibition at the Emirates Palace is a wonderful experience for me and I had the pleasure to meet with guests and visitors from the United Arab Emirates and abroad to inform them of my work and my artistic activities."The value of the gold-plated exhibits varies from $3-4m, while Dante said technical models designed for Porsche and Ferrari cars in the real size of pure gold were worth up to $25m, because he used 100 kilograms of gold to make them.He said that in his workshop in Switzerland, only four or five expensive models are produced every year. He added that his clients are wealthy people and collectors of rare gold plated cars.
