Ferrari’s 920hp F70 aka the New Enzo Rome - Arabstoday Ferrari wants its new Enzo F70 hypercar to pack the power of a Veyron while carrying as little weight as possible.Ferrari's Enzo successor, according to Autoweek, will boast some serious power and some incredibly light weight. The F70, as it is currently known, will apparently pack 920hp with 120 of those ponies coming from an F1-style KERS system. The bulk of the F70's power will come in a more powerful form of the F620's naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine. The F620, scheduled to debut next month at Geneva, will get only 700hp out of its engine while the setup in the F70 will get at least 800hp.An extra 120hp will come from a kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) system borrowed from Formula 1. The limited time boost will give the F70 a short-term combined 920hp. Combine the aforementioned power with the projected curb weight of just 2,500lbs (thanks to ample use of carbon fiber) and you have a hypercar capable of serious performance. The F70 will take on the Porsche 918 and the McLaren F1 successor in the elite hypercar category. We could see the F70 debut at the Paris Motor Show this September.
