Algerian music groups “Nassim Djezma,” “Imazd” and “Tarbaat” will participate in the 4th Orientalys Festival in Montreal (Canada), scheduled from August 29th to September 1st, alongside artists from various countries from Africa, Europe and Asia.
Nassim Djezma, a modern rock group mixing bedouin, chaoui and kabyle genres. Their most famous hits are “Zahra,” “Bin Yeddik,” “Believe Me,” and “I’m not gonna stop,” through which they plan to promote the Maghreb song.
Producing a traditional rhythmic and inspiring blues, reflecting the spirit of the desert and its contribution to the individual, “Imzad” advocates love and friendship between people in various albums, such as “Ulah Nes’ Ahaggar” (Heart of the Ahaggar) and “E’Douniya.”
Tarbaat, combining chaabi, kabyle and rai genres develops a style which takes into account the authenticity in the content with an opening to modernity in the form
In addition to Algerian groups, the festival will bring together Canadian, American, Indian, German, Italian, Moroccan and Guinean artists.
