Annual winter fishing tourism festival opens in Xinjiang

Fishermen harvest fishes after ice fishing in the Ulunggur Lake in Fuhai County, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Jan. 18, 2014. The annual winter fishing tourism festival, which opened here Saturday, attracted numerous tourists despite the cold weather. As a cultural tradition and an impulse of local economy, the ice fishing has become a special scenery in the cold winter of Xinjiang.
