The 2013 AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China, AOPA-China) Aviation Festival will start on Saturday in Hexigten Banner of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Players from Beijing, Shaanxi, Zhejiang provinces bring their own private flying machines to the Bashang prairie, which is the nearest grassland from China's capital Beijing. Paramotoring, light aircraft, delta wing, vitors could see all kinds of flying machines here. The 2013 AOPA Aviation Festival is the second in China, the first was held in Faku, Shenyang. AOPA applies for a report flying area this time, which is the biggest in China, some 3,800 square kilomketers. The festival provides the members the chance to show their own machines. Autogyro is a rare and attractive machine. It looks like helicopter, but has a different operating mechanism. The back airscrew provide power for autogyro, and the thrust power drives rotor wing to take off the plane. The 2013 Aviation Festival is also called sky Nadaam, means a big party for flying fans. The festival will have commemorative activities to mark the first fire ballon and light plane flying 30 years ago, besides some performances, such as aerobatic flight, delta wing, formation flying and fireballoon show.
