According to a recently released statement by the management of Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children, the Egyptian theatre production titled "500", directed by Sondos Shabayek, has been cancelled.
The organisers cite technical reasons behind the cancellation.
The fifth edition of the Hakawy Festival runs from 9 to 17 March in Cairo, and from 18 to 19 March in Alexandria, with plays from the US, UK, the Netherlands and France.
