The Four Seasons-inspired jukebox musical will arrive in October
DUBAI - Arab Today

ersey Boys, an acclaimed jukebox musical that has been on Broadway since 2005, is coming to Dubai Opera in October, organisers announced on Thursday.

The documentary-style show tells the story of 1960s group The Four Seasons. It includes their biggest hits and reveals their less-than-perfect offstage relationships. Jersey Boys will arrive at the venue on October 11 and run until October 14.

The show is divided into four seasons, from spring through to winter. Musical numbers include December 1963 (Oh What a Night), Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Sherry, Walk Like a Man, Bye Bye Baby andBig Girls Don’t Cry.

Jersey Boys won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 2006, and the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 2009.

Producers Selladoor Worldwide are behind the Dubai show

“The incredible ’60s sound of the legendary Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons is unmistakable and, as far as I’m concerned, utterly brilliant — if you’re a fan of jukebox musicals then do not miss this global smash hit Jersey Boys at the home of musical theatre in Dubai,” said chief executive of Dubai Opera, Jasper Hope.

Tickets will go on sale from dubaiopera.com at 9am on March 12
