Within the framework of growing historic and strategic relations between Bahrain and the USA, the Police Music Band will take part in the US celebrations of the Independence Day which will be held on July 4. The band leader Major General Mubarak Najam said in a statement after arriving in Washington that the participation of the band is in line with the directives of Interior Minister Lt. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He lauded the minister’s support to the band to improve its artistic and professional level and boost its presence in international gatherings and festivals.
Major General Mubarak Najam said the band will present a variety of musical shows blending military music with the Bahraini folkloric one. He pointed out that the participation in the US festivities will contribute to exchanging experiences and skills, especially in the presence of many outstanding US military music bands.
