Sports Affairs Department of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) organises its annual Heritage Games Festival at the Al-Khor city on Friday, QOC said.  The event jointly organised by QOC and the Socio-Cultural Committee of Al-Khor Sports Club.  The traditional festival includes number of games related with local drinks and meals like Al Dama, Al Domna, carom, best Arabic coffee, folkloric meal, artisan products besides other entertainment shows. Valuable financial rewards will be handed to the top winners in each event, Mr. Waleed Al-Khanji, Head of Sport Events Unit has said. The initiative for organising this festival comes as an integral part of QOC s strategy to get acquainted with local society and to revive country s national heritage.
