Activities at the tent will go on until Dec. 3. Khalil Al Mansouri, director of SCCI at Khorfakkan said that the tent includes food courts and rides and caters to the tastes of people of all ages. It has been attracting a large number of shoppers, visitors and families ever since the day it was launched. People from the Northern Emirates have been particularly flocking to the tent to enjoy the shopping and entertainment on offer. “The Sharjah Ramadan Festival (SRF) activities, which throws up commercial promotions and entertainment galore, is considered one of the important festivals which residents of the region eagerly wait for every Ramadan,” Mansouri added. Mansouri also explained that as part of the SRF, the SCCI Khorfakkan branch had allocated huge land space which houses home appliance exhibitions, restaurants and cafeterias for families. “The organising committee has made great efforts to provide all means of entertainment and a fun atmosphere for visitors and shoppers,” he stressed.
